The 'Muleseum' is a website designed for easy visual navigation through the use of the TimelineRoll concept. Here one can see everything all at once and follow it through the course of time that is represented from year to year starting in 1972. I had originally considered calling this website 'Marty's Museum' but after a closer look at some of my pictures I realized that the word 'Museum' was a slight bit outside of the descriptive scope of most of my imagery. All around the world the word 'Museum' allegorizes a sanctuaried stable where only the thoroughbreds of the art world reside.

Thinking along those lines it dawned on me that the title 'Muleseum' would be less pretentious, more fun, and a suitable place for all of my art projects to reside.

WELCOME TO THE MULESEUM

Printing and Editions

The Mule and also the Donkey are often portrayed as stubborn, foolish, and have an enduring image as beasts of burden. I find that these are some of the more alluring attractions for making it the representative of this site. Donkeys and Mules are continually popping up throughout art history as well as literature, philosophy, and psychology to an extent that it makes me wonder if they are as dumb as they are sometimes portrayed. They seem to be the chosen animal for great historical figures to either ride in or to sometimes ride out of town on. The work by Nuccio Ordine entitled 'Giordano Bruno and the Philosophy of the Ass' is a good example of how these animals are often portrayed throughout history. Always a paradoxical philosophy of a utopian workhouse I have sometimes felt like a Mule after lugging these pictures around for over 45 years. Learn more about these Timeline Roll paintings.

This Muleseum is a site where I share my ideas and images while also offering for sale the Fine Art Prints of my photos, paintings, etchings and sculptures. Check out the Musick part of this site and download some of the songs from my band the Un-Fey-Mess and the CD Bad Tattoo. Feel free to E-mule me at MuleseumInfo@gmail.com.

Printing & Editions

All of the print reproductions on this site are printed by state of the art giclee printers using only archival inks and museum quality paper. We are always willing to work with our friends with regards to sizing and even framing and materials other than those listed in the store. We accommodate any reasonable needs. We also custom make distressed cedar single finger joint frames to fit all sizes up to 60" x 96". Contact us via e-Mule at MuleseumInfo@gmail.com to ask about special orders.

With the launching of this site all of the prints sold will reflect a new numbering system that I call the Unlimited Limited Edition. I would like to share these prints with people for years to come and in order to do that I cannot put a finite restriction on the reproduction. This will not devalue your print it will make it unique. All of the prints will start with the number 1 and proceed from there. The number on your print will be placed in the usual edition spot on the paper and this will be tracked by the Muleseum and updated as more images are sold. The value exchange of the prints will increase incrementally after a certain number of prints are sold. The unlimited limited edition number will be the number of prints that have been sold at that time.

Every print will have a certificate of authenticity and will be stamped with the Muleseum brand on the back. The prints will be delivered individually wrapped in acid free professional art packaging.

We pride ourselves in excellent reproductions. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the product get in touch with us and we will provide you with a replacement, a store credit, or a refund provided that you return the image in its original state.
