Paintings

The freedom to create whatever you felt like creating as a concept unto itself was a great by-product from the late 1960's and early 1970's and a big influence on my approach to painting. I wanted to be original and have my own fun with ideas and images while making pictures that were novel, ingenuous, and channeled. In retrospect I think I could have taken ideas further and been more outrageous in my approach while discarding a self imposed censorship.
